Overview
The HS 1010 measures residual stress non-destructively through the acoustoelastic response of sound-transmitting materials. It supports steel, iron, aluminum, copper and titanium alloys as well as glass, ceramics and carbon-fiber composites.
Built-in elasticity data for common engineering materials and direct measurement in the inspection area make the instrument suitable for rapid field assessment, particularly around welded joints.
