Overview
The HS 1030 uses orthogonally polarized shear-wave acoustic-time differences to evaluate stress without physical acoustic coupling. The non-contact method removes coupling-layer delay and allows measurements on coated or high-temperature surfaces.
Real-time dual-channel display supports comparison of longitudinal and transverse stress components as well as residual and bolt-tightening stress.
